Terms of Service
Effective date: August 15, 2026. By using Cloudply ("the app"), developed by Abdul Khaliq Mangat, you agree to these terms.
1. Your ownership of media
All photos, videos, and other files you transfer remain your property. Cloudply does not claim ownership of any content you copy between providers. You are responsible for the content you choose to transfer and for ensuring you have the right to copy it.
2. Your responsibility for destinations and permissions
You are responsible for the storage you use as a transfer destination, including its available capacity, its terms of service, and the permissions you grant. Cloudply cannot see or manage quotas that your provider enforces. Before starting a transfer, ensure the destination has enough space for the media you select.
3. Copy versus move behavior
By default, Cloudply copies media from the source provider to the destination provider. Source files are not deleted unless you explicitly select a delete action and confirm it. Deleting source files after a successful copy is a deliberate, confirmed action and is irreversible for the source provider.
4. Failed or skipped media
Individual items may fail to transfer (for example, because of a provider error, a corrupted file, or a size limit) or may be skipped as duplicates. Cloudply reports these items in the transfer log so you can review and retry them. A completed transfer does not guarantee that every item was copied; always review the transfer report.
5. Provider API limitations
Cloudply depends on the public APIs of Google Photos, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, and MEGA. These providers impose rate limits, file-size limits, scope restrictions, and terms of their own. Cloudply respects these limits and cannot transfer media that a provider refuses to serve. For Google Photos, only items you select through the official picker are accessible to the app.
6. No guarantee against provider outages
Cloudply is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party provider services. If a provider is down, slow, or changes its API, transfers may be paused, retried, or fail. Interrupted transfers are designed to resume, but no guarantee is made that every transfer completes.
7. Account disconnection
You may disconnect any provider account at any time from Settings. Disconnecting removes the saved tokens, local metadata, and logs for that account on your device. It does not delete files stored on the provider.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Cloudply to transfer content that you have no right to copy, to circumvent provider limitations, to interfere with the app's operation, or to harass or harm others. You agree to comply with the terms of each provider you connect.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abdul Khaliq Mangat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from the use of or inability to use Cloudply, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy for any issue is to stop using the app and remove the affected accounts.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL with its effective date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
