Common questions
Why can I only see selected items from Google Photos?
Google only allows apps to access photos and videos that you explicitly select through the official Google Photos picker. Cloudply does not request full-library access. Storage figures shown for Google Photos reflect your selected items only — not your total Google Photos quota.
Why is my transfer paused or waiting?
Transfers pause when the app is backgrounded, the network changes, or a provider rate limit is reached. Cloudply keeps the progress of every item, and you can resume paused transfers from the transfer progress screen. Review the transfer report to see which items were skipped and why.
Why did some items fail or get skipped?
Individual items can fail because of provider errors, file-size limits, corrupted files, or duplicate detection. Failed items are listed in the transfer log and can be retried. If an item repeatedly fails, check the file size against the destination provider's limits.
Does Cloudply delete anything from my source?
No. Cloudply copies media. Source files are never removed unless you explicitly choose a delete action and confirm it. Deleting source files is irreversible on the provider side, so the app always asks for confirmation.
Where are my temporary files stored, and when are they removed?
During an active transfer, media may be staged temporarily on your device so files can be moved reliably. Staging files are removed as soon as the transfer completes. Temporary storage is never used outside an active transfer.
How do I remove an account or all my data?
Open Settings in the app, choose the account, and select Delete Account. This removes the saved tokens, local metadata, and logs for that account on your device. Full instructions are on the Delete Account page.
How do I reconnect a provider after reauthorization?
Open the provider's details in the app and choose to reconnect or re-add the account. If sign-in fails repeatedly, close and reopen the app, then try again. Make sure your device has an active internet connection.
